Chris Leo
Principal UX consultant and founder
I lead Pivot UX, a boutique consultancy that helps senior leaders deliver complex digital services with confidence. Clients work directly with me, and for larger projects I bring in trusted associates.
Over 14 years I’ve led user-centred design at national scale, including HMRC’s pandemic services, and advised global banks such as Citibank and Barclays. I’m a Government Digital Services Assessor with a background in psychology, market research and human–computer interaction.
I reduce delivery risk and improve outcomes by setting clear direction from evidence, aligning stakeholders and designing end-to-end services. Most recently I’ve assured AI delivery against risk, ethics and compliance.
At the heart of Pivot UX is a simple belief: when services meet people’s needs, they create lasting value for organisations and society.
